The tradition your family has been avoiding talking about.
For generations, families have gathered around a Fraser fir and felt nothing. We asked a simple question: what if the tree contributed.
Every tree on our farm is hand-raised, slow-cured, and shaped by the same cold Lake Michigan wind that shapes our region's cherries and our region's people. We do not rush a tree. A tree knows when it is ready. Increasingly, so do you.
All trees are sold pre-lit. In every sense.
Flocking. Traditional white flocking available. Ask about our signature kief flocking, applied by hand, which we are told catches the light beautifully and everything else eventually.
Delivery. Statewide, in an unmarked van, driven cautiously and exactly at the speed limit. Our drivers have never been pulled over. They have been followed home once or twice, socially.
Disposal. In January we retrieve your tree with dignity. What happens to it after that is a farm matter.
Is this legal. In Michigan, remarkably, we are told the answer is a series of increasingly quiet yeses.
Can I smoke the tree. The tree is a tree. What you have a relationship with is the tree's ornaments, sold separately, in jars.
Do the needles drop. Everything drops eventually. The needles, the ornaments, your uncle, sometime around the fourth quarter of the Lions game. The tree simply sets the tone.
Water requirements. Daily water, indirect light, and one sincere compliment.
